A new loggin’ vid via Thomas Surfboards, shot on location in Sri Lanka during a week-long point break bender. Mase Dawg does some of the most exquisite longboard surfing you’ll ever see - no jks her rail work is AS GOOD AS IT GETS. Doc and Har do their usual dance, but it’s def the gals who star. We’ve got a guest appearance from shortboard-lord Lilliana Bowrey and a curtain call by one of the smoothest young women in surfing, Luca Doble. The vid is ready for a beach premiere in Bali at this year’s Twinkle Toes. More prems to follow. C’mon!

BELLS FAMILY BBQ

Safe to say that the longboarders at this year’s Djarrk tour event reached new heights. Huge surf, jet ski assists, excellent scores, and results that made sense. Congrats to Kev Skvarna and Soleil Erico. Mase Dog put on a stellar performance, riding her Wizl in the Wizl, throwing down excellent scores in pumping conditions. She seemed relaxed in the competition environment, which may or may not have had something to do with Dean Walters’s Honeyshine G&T stash. I’m sure having hot boi Julian there with Doc, Kim and Arkie to support also contributed. Mr. Roach was in the commentary booth and sneaking a few waves on the bowl after knockoffs. All in all, it was a pretty good week for the whole pro longboard surf thing. All we need now is some more prize money.

NEW IZZY HENSHALL FLICK
Pond is a new flick via UK exports Izzy Henshall and Cameron Staunton. If you’re in Bali for the Twinkle Toes this week, we’ll be showing the flick at our store on Thursday night. Come join us in watching Izzy road trip through the east coast of Australia - I hear she found a few pristine bays and perfect little lefts. Also... free beer - woohoo.

NAUGHTY NIC'S NEW WHIP

Naught Nic aka Big Red just got himself a new custom Scoop Tail, same as his last one but with a bit more volume. Too much muscle for the last one I’m assuming. Nic’s on the same flight with us all to Bali on Tuesday, keen to see him put all that muscle and the new whip to use at the Twinkle Toes.

TWINKLE TOES GANGSTA

And here we are, the 2nd annual Twinkle Toes Invitational Log Riding Festival will be running in Canggu on the 18th and 19th, and everyone from Avalon Gall to Uminoske Oguma is gonna be there. As far as prep goes, Thomas and co. have been warming up their woo-mum vocal chords in anticipation of a paction-acked weekend. Hooting, hollering, etcetering… This event represents what we love about longboard culture…there are no rules; there’s no pretense of prize money; your form on the beach and as a person is valued as much as your surfing skill; and there’s karaoke at the end. We’re sponnoing the event with a couple of logs and are planning to hang hard with the longboard community all week. Fart yeah.
