Moose Knuckle

Born out of a desire to push through turns without sacrificing stability, the Moose Knuckle is a fresh feeling, easy to ride, all-rounder. The design came about while working closely with some of our female team riders, and in particular, Mason Schremmer, in the hopes of making a log that was a little more user-friendly for light-footed surfers. It’s perhaps the most approachable log that I’ve designed.

The slightly pulled in square tail makes it feel super responsive turning on the back foot, and the wider nose outline and generous concave means that it maintains an effortless feel on the nose. I guess if the Harrison, Townbike and Keeper had a threesome and created a longboard lovechild, the Moose Knuckle would be it. After being put through its paces in pumping point breaks, sketchy beaches, perfect Javanese reefs, and of course, grovelly, knee-high slop, the Moose has become a favourite among our team riders and customers. The feedback’s been positive on all accounts, and we're not shitting you, we've seen some of the best slicing cut backs we’ve ever seen from Mason Schremmer on her’s. A lot of our designs are great noseriders (it's kind of a prerequisite for a longboard) but if you're looking to finesse your positioning and turning, fade takes offs, dropknee turns etc… you might want to consider the Moose Knuckle.
