From Friday 25 September - Saturday 17 October, Woman by Abby Rose will be holding the Woman of Art exhibition. The exhibition will take over Thomas Surfboards gallery space in Noosaville for three whole weeks, showcasing established and emerging artists in all their creative glory.
Co-owner behind Woman. By Abby Rose, Abby Vuister said she is beyond excited to be hosting their very first exhibition. “Our community is brimming with some seriously talented female artists, and if you ask us? It’s time to show them off. There’s over 20 local and talented women involved — none of which are ordinary. Expect everything from painting, drawing and photography through to ceramics, floral installations and new media pieces.”
The opening night on Friday 25 September is ticketed, with attendees able to join one of four staggered 45-minute sessions; choose between 6pm, 6.45pm, 7.30pm and 8.15pm.
Tickets for the opening night are on sale now and include a drink on arrival, live music by Lily Taloola, and the opportunity to meet the artists themselves (not to mention, first dibs on ogling their work).
One lucky exhibitor will walk away from the opening night with The CLO Studios Emerging Female Artist Award. The award includes a $1,000 prize and the opportunity to be stocked in CLO Studios online and in their Noosa Junction stores.
